We should find some more pages to be deleted, and then ask the sysops to delete them.

If you intend to keep contributing to Telugu Wikisource, it would be a good idea for you to also become a sysop.

Great. The procedure is for project members to vote to approve a new sysop. See for example en:Wikisource:Administrators#Xxagile or la:Vicifons:Magistratus#Matthead..

Could you create Wikisource:నిర్వాహకులు ? It does not need to be so fancy like the English page; it can be simple list the Latin wikisource page. It only needs to list the current sysops. You may want to borrow some useful information from w:వికీపీడియా:నిర్వాహకులు

Proofread Page extension

The mw:Extension:Proofread Page extension has been developed for Wikisource. Most of the messages have been translated, however there are 20 untranslated messages. They can be translated here: [1]

Special:Prefixindex/Index: shows a few Telugu books using this system. The most important task is deciding on the name of the "Index", "Index talk", "Page" and "Page talk" namespaces.

"Index" is the name giving to the page which describes the pages in the book. See en:Special:IndexPages for many examples. Is "సూచిక" a good name for this?

"Page" should be "పేజీ" ?

Hi John, I have reopened an existing bug bugzilla:22283, and have pointed out to the consensus on the పుట word for Page. I think that would suffice. If not please let me know.

I was wondering why the Index and Page pages are not working as well for some as they are for some other.

Eg:- పేజీ:గానవిద్యావినోదిని-2.PNG works fine but పేజీ:Molla_Ramayanam.djvu/2 does not have the next and prev.

As an Administrator, you are allowed into #wikimedia-admin, the cross-wiki coordination channel for Wikimedia administrators. Any member of the channel can invite you in temporarily, but you need an invite exemption from a channel operator to get in whenever you want. Please come to #wikimedia and ask for an invite.

Any admin from any project is welcome and it is a good place for cross-wiki coordination of vandal and spam fighting. It is also useful for new admins to contact more experienced admins in real-time to get help with the more complicated admin tasks such as history merges/splits and importing via Special:Import.

Hello. A policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus in 2013. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.

You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on this wiki. Since this wiki, to the best of our knowledge, does not have its own rights review process, the global one applies.

If you want to keep your advanced permissions, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. A community notice about this process has been also posted on the local Village Pump of this wiki. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at the m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights.

If you wish to resign your rights, please request removal of your rights on Meta.

If there is no response at all after one month, stewards will proceed to remove your administrator and/or bureaucrat rights. As COVID-19 has forced the Wikimedia communities to stay at home and like many other affiliates, CIS-A2K has decided to suspend all offline activities till 15th September 2020 (or till further notice). I present to you for an online training session for future coming months. The CIS-A2K have conducted a Online Indic Wikisource Proofreadthon to enrich our Indian classic literature in digital format.

WHAT DO YOU NEED

• Booklist: a collection of books to be proofread. Kindly help us to find some classical literature your language. The book should not be available in any third party website with Unicode formatted text. Please collect the books and add our event page book list.

• Participants: Kindly sign your name at Participants section if you wish to participate this event.

• Reviewer: Kindly promote yourself as administrator/reviewer of this proofreadthon and add your proposal here. The administrator/reviewers could participate in this Proofreadthon.
