లలు ససుళ్లు లేని జలధి రీతి;
నిశ్చలాత్మయెన్న నిర్వికారంబున

బటము గోడలందు, బరగ నిసుకఁ
బెట్టనంటున'ట్ల, బెనఁగు దేహము జీవి. వి. 89
కలుషమె'ల్ల (దెలియ), దల వంపులకు మూల
మ',రయ తత్వమె' ల్లనా'త్మఁబుట్టు;
తెలివినందుకు మరి ధీరుండు గావలె! వి. 90
అనగ ననగ రాగమ తిశయిల్లుచు నుండు
తినగ తినగ వేము తీపినుండు
సాధకమున బనులు సమకూరు ధరలోన. వి. 91

89. As metals unite with flame, and a spike with wood, and figures with the walls on which they are painted, so are the body and living soul united.
90. Know that sin is always the cause of drooping the head ; that all true good originates in the spirit, but to comprehend this requires much firmness.
91. By talking and conversing affection increased : as you continue to eat even the bitter Nimba leaf, it becomes sweet ; so by practice may we succeed in any art whatever.
