66. The Utsaha (ఉత్సాహ) verse it composed of seven Surya feet and a long syllable. The fifth foot rhymes in yati to the initial, and prasa is used.

In dreadful dance the fiends of night,
His steadfast penance to destroy
Assemble all the forms of fright,
Alarm'd Sulrdma urged their rage
And every terror used, in vain,
Unshaken sat the youthful sage

The rule is comprised in the following line (in the Mattebha metre),
"There are seven (Ravis) Suryas (feet), and one long, with the (visrdma) yati at the fifth (en) in the Utsdha."
