Said by a spoilt child who wished his father to teach him half a letter at a time.

2254. ఓహో బాబూ కనుక్కొన్నారు అన్నాడట.

O father! they have discovered us.

Two Tambalis (No. 173), father and son, went to a Brahmin feast disguised as Brahmans. When the sandal was handed round for making the horizontal Sectarial mark on the forehead, the son took it with his right hand instead of with his left. The server thereupon called him a Tamboli when he stupidly cried out to his father that they had been discovered and brought him too into trouble.
